Launched in a blaze of publicity late in 2007 with the claim that a large amount of money had been spent developing a beer that would appeal to women. How well-spent the money was may be inferred from the fact that Beermad has seen no reference to the beer being sold in pubs or at beer festivals since January 2008 and according to Rushing Dolls' website, the only known stockist is a small chain of shops in Mid-Wales and Shropshire.
