Founded 1985. The brewery's name commemorates the Titanic's Captain Smith, who came from Stoke.
As far as can be ascertained, some Shugborough beers are brewed at Shugborough Hall (but by the Titanic brewer) but as far as Beermad knows, most are brewed at Titanic itself.
Moved to nearby new premises early 2003.
